The first ever use of the term 'DOGE' came in June 2005, in an episode of Homestar Runner, where Homestar Runner calls Strong Bad his D-O-G-E!
8 YEARS before the iconic Doge Shiba Inu meme was created.
Homestar Runner was one of the most visited sites ever at the peak of it's popularity. One short clip, would snowball into one of the biggest memes of all time.

A photo of Kabosu, a Shiba Inu, is posted on a blog and starts to spread around the internet for it's funny pose.
Kabosu is dubbed "Doge" in a Tumblr post, and the iconic doge meme is born.
September 2025, the world finally recognizes Strong Bad as the true ORIGINAL doge.
